Debate

A series of critical debates were hosted the University of Kent on 17 June 2010, working with other Creative Campus Initiative universities and research experts. The debates were informed by the artistic, cultural and social issues raised through the programmes developed by each Creative Campus Initiative university. The day was also featured a showcase of artist-led research projects and included the evaluation of, and educational resources from, the Initiative.

The programme will include the following sessions:

• Towards 2012

Sarah Weir (Head of Arts and Cultural Strategy for Olympic Delivery Authority) delivered the closing plenary lecture. 

Projects across the coming academic year will allow CCI to consider the debating series for Phase 2 in line with the themes of each flagship piece.
